This week's lecture was, I assume, difficult for some of us who have been at the receiving end of discrimination. As you may recall, not so long ago, many who study, visit, or work in the United States suffered because of what was known as "The Muslim Travel ban."i would like us to move away from such an emotive subject and concentrate on something purely academic. YOu were told in the lecture that MIMESIS is a method of learning in religion. By using Google or other resources that are easily available, please explain as you would to a high school student, the function of MIMESIS in religion.
