General instructions for all discussion posts:

• Your initial post should be between 350-400 words. The main post is due by Wednesday at midnight.
• Your peer responses should be substantial (new information and cited/referenced.) The replies must be posted on separate days from the initial post. Subsequent posts, a minimum of two responses to student peers, must occur by the Sunday deadline, 11:59 p.m. Eastern time of each week. 
• You should end each week with a minumum of 3 posts, 1 initial discussion post (which will include one option from section A and one option from section B) and 2 peer replies. 
• You must use your textbook for one of the two required references on your initial post.  References must be no older than 5 years and must comply with rubric requirements. All peer posts must include a minimum of 1 scholarly source.
