When it comes to solving a printer problem, it is essential to look at all the external possibilities involved in causing troubleshooting. Printer issues are mainly caused because of general problems; thus, it is crucial to look at all the connections or junctions to isolate the problem. For example, if the printer is not printing, we should look at the laptop and printer's hardware components, connection, printer application, network, and printer quality. After the problem is located, it is essential to look at the method to connect the printer with the LAN and check its origin. The first thing is to ensure that the computer is on and active. It shouldn't be hung and unconnected from the network (Otachi, 2019). Then check if the computer is connected with a physical laptop around then there should be the network connection showing at the window login screen. The second thing to figure out the issue is to check out whether the laptop is connected with the same network to which the printer is, whether at home or the office. And the third step to solve the problem is to look at the strength of the network where you are connecting both the laptop and the printer. If not joined yet, there is another way to troubleshoot the problem: to turn off the printer, rest for a while, and restart to look at the issue again because it could be because of the poor signals. There could be different reasons that technology might not work, and thus there are numerous ways by which we can make the technology work (Bufete, 2018).
