Prison Education and Vocational Programs can be helpful in many male facilities by facilitating essential skills the inmates can use to improve their lives both in and out of prison. The most influential courses and vocational to offer for prisoners include carpentry and construction courses, where they could get some skills to use when they get out of prison (Raghavan & Vineetha, 2018). There could also be provision wellness and character development lessons to help them learn the importance of character change and provide them with critical personal skills to help them through mental care. Mechanics courses can also be beneficial for the prisoners, and from them, they could develop important mechanics and technological skills to get jobs and income. Some entrepreneurial education can also help the prisoners learn how to manage their businesses legally and even open companies that could help them earn when they are released.     

The benefits of these programs are that they help keep inmates busy, preventing them from thinking about evil things that could harm other inmates. These programs are also crucial in acquiring skills they can use to get an income, especially when released. The lessons are essential in preventing them from re-offending; therefore, they help reduce the chances of going back to jail once they are out (Pompoco, Wooldredge, Lugo, Sullivan, & Latessa, 2017). The programs increase the events of the prisoners getting employment after release compared to those who did not attend the programs. These programs also provide a lot of empowerment that could encourage the inmates to change their characters; therefore, they can view things differently and avoid situations that could cause them to commit their previous offenses. Through character change, it is easy to reduce prison fights and disagreements, promoting peace, both in prison and for the inmates' families once they are out of jail. Thus, vocational programs are beneficial for both the inmates and the broader society.

Biblically, being busy is essential because it helps prevent a prisoner from thinking about activities that could lead them to re-offend. The Bible talks about an idle mind-opening room for devil ideas; therefore, the programs can keep the inmates busy from such thoughts. The agenda will also provide space for them to want to progress once they are out of prison, and through this, their chances of going back to prison are less (Clarence & Haynes, 2020). When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies" it is clear that an idle mind can make someone do bad things, which is why these programs will be helpful.
