Fantastic post; I agree that lack of resources in nursing is a factor that can affect the implementation of EBP. Resources are essential in any aspect of implementation and development. Lack of essential and relevant knowledge is also an aspect that can greatly hinder effective implementation of EBP. Nurses should have knowledge on how EBP works and how it can be put to use. The nurse should undertake adequate research from different fields to gain the necessary skills on the subject matter (Yousefi-Nooraie et al., 2014). It is also important to note that lack of organizational support and inadequate time is another factor that can affect the implementation process. It is essential to know the importance and challenges of EBP before implementation. I concur that facilities should be considered most in any implementation process, especially in EBP.
