Course Project Part 1: Group Dynamics

In Unit VII, you will submit an essay titled Team Building at ________. The final essay will be several pages and include four different components. Each unit, you will complete an additional component/concept for the final essay. The final essay will not be simply adding the four components together but will be a culmination of lessons learned in creating each component.

For this unit, write a two-page essay of an analysis of your current work environment. The essay is titled Team Building at _______: My Analysis. Do not use actual names, but identify each person with a number, letter, or fictional name. In the essay include responses to the following:

a. an overview of the team and group dynamics;

b. a breakdown of key players on your team, and how their unique personalities impact the whole team;

c. an explanation of how you will portray the team culture to promote the concept of members as leaders;

d. an overview of past efforts used by current leadership for team building;

e. identification of ways to celebrate diversity (professional, cultural, socio-economic, etc.) on the team, and how that

diversity contributes to the adaptability and sustainability of the interprofessional team;

f. your professional analysis (strengths and weaknesses) of past efforts to create a team atmosphere; and

g. an explanation of how you would deal with the team building at your work environment by celebrating the strengths you would keep, and how you might improve on the identified weaknesses.
