1. Choose a method of needs assessment (performance analysis or instructional needs analysis), and explain how this would be used to determine a content area that is in need of improvement.
2. Describe the nature of the content and current problems with delivering that content to learners.
3. Identify what data, information about the problem, and/or documentation would be gathered and from whom to determine the reasons why this content is not being taught successfully.
4. Describe 1-2 instructional goals of the content area.
5. Choose one lesson topic in this content, and write an instructional objective showing what students should know, and be able to do by the end of a lesson.
