A persuasive speech refers to a speech that convinces the audience to accept the point of argument. In the video, the speakers have succeeded in persuading the audience to accept their point of view. Every speaker in the video is composed and have organized the speech in a way that promotes understanding. A good persuasive must be organized in a manner that will aid in delivering the intended message. An excellent persuasive speech has several characteristics. The first characteristic of a good persuasive speech is that it should have a good opening pitch that grabs the audience's interests (Mohan, Pg. 35-43). An attractive beginning of the speech helps create suspense for the audience to understand more about the topic in the speech. The second characteristic is that a good persuasive speech needs to have evidence that indicates the credibility of the speech. A persuasive speaker should be able to provide enough evidence that supports the message conveyed. The third characteristic is that it should give a conclusion that compels the audience to take action. The conclusion of a speech determines how the audience responds to the message delivered. If the speaker does not persuade all the listeners should not feel defeated. A single speech cannot be in a position to convince all the listeners. However, the success of a persuasive speech should be measured on the willingness of the speaker to consider his argument.
