Write a paper to assess and evaluate a current threat impact on the field of information security. Research a current threat, and use the Northcentral University Library, the National Institute of Justice Website, the Internet, newspapers, community publications, or your local law enforcement agency. In this paper, assess and evaluate the following:

1. Overall explanation of what the threat is

2. Who is behind the threat, and possible reasons they would pose this threat

3. How severe the threat is to business continuity

4. Disaster planning that can help to avoid or prepare for the threat

5. Your own analysis of the threat and why it is most concerning to you of all threats

Support your paper with at least five (5) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included. Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic. Your response should reflect scholarly writing and current APA standards.
