Feedback:         For 1st attempt assessments, feedback will normally be provided 20 working days after the point of submission. 

 

For 2nd/3rd attempts (or deferred attempts), feedback will normally be provided 15 working days after the point of submission.

           

Grading:             The assessment will be assessed against the marking criteria.

 

Format:              The expected format of this assessment should be PowerPoint

Length: 10 minutes        .

It is permissible to exceed the stated word limit by up to 10%, without penalty. Assignments which exceed these limits are liable to be penalised by the deduction of 5 marks per 1000 words excess (e.g. If a 1000 word assignment, 5 marks off for 1101-2000 words, 10 marks off for 2101-3100 words, and so on).

 

 

 

 

Specific Guidelines:

Develop and record a presentation of a poster that provides a logically argued case for a specific practice improvement or innovation.

  • Analyse the research evidence and policy drivers related to an area of practice, identifying a problem or service development need, using literature searching and critical appraisal skills.  
  • Consider the trans-professional perspectives and opportunities to enhance person-centred care related to this improvement or innovation. 
  • Review the potential impact of this improvement or innovation on your professional practice.
  • Your poster must be supported with relevant literature and evidence the required APA referencing format for in-text citations.
  • The PowerPoint file for your poster should be submitted to Turn-it-In by the deadline specified on the assessment schedule.
  • Presentation recordings of your poster should not exceed 10 minutes. Presentations should be saved to your University OneDrive account and appropriate permissions for file sharing set. This file should not be deleted or moved until after the Awards Board.
  • Your poster should appear on a single PowerPoint slide. An additional slide should be used to include the link to your recorded presentation on OneDrive. A further slide(s) can be used for your reference list using the required APA referencing format.
  • Failure to include the link to the presentation recording on OneDrive within the PowerPoint file submitted to Turn-It-In will result in a fail grade for non-submission.
