In your response to at least one peer who was assigned the same scenario as you, and one who was assigned a different scenario, address the following: • What specific technology platform would you recommend they consider in addition to the tool they mentioned in their initial post, and why do you think it is appropriate? • What specific technology platform may not be well-suited to their scenario based on their initial post, and why do you think it is not appropriate? Hello Class! I would use small video formats on sites like YouTube, this will allow me to control the length of the video to ensure I am not producing something that is really drawn out thus boring my audience. I could also use a tool that we use at my job called Skill Port. This platform hosts training sessions and information sessions that a person can log into at their leisure, to ensure that the audience is checking in to them once the video is over there could be a certificate of completion given. Tone is particularly important in an interview setting or break a person's presentation. I would consider what information I will talk about and ensure that I am upbeat and engaging. The consideration I would need to consider would be my audience, what they will gain from these interviews, how technically inclined they are and how accessible these media platforms would be for them. Hello All, I hope that everyone is having a great week so far, and I also hope that everyone is finding their readings enjoyable this week, I know I am. Okay, so my last name starts with “M”, so my prompt for this discussion is: “You are hosting a small, live training for the remote workers on your team.” For this particular scenario, my channel will be a webinar-based learning session. I will be using this because I am hosting a live training session, and from our readings this week, we learned that webinars are great for explaining and exchanging complex information. Naturally, this fits my audience, purpose, and tone rather nicely. For my audience, it fists because my audience is attending my webinar to learn something. For my purpose, it fits because my purpose is to teach, and webinars are great for that. Finally, It fits my tone, because it allows me to be able to be an authoritative source of information for my audience. There are some considerations that I will have to keep in mind if I am going to use this kind of channel though, however. I will need to coordinate with the workers on my team and schedule a time that we can all get together for the webinar. I will also need to promote the webinar to make sure that my workers know about the webinar and don't forget about it. Lastly, I will need to organize my information in a way that is engaging to my workers and make sure it is delivered in a way that will be beneficial to them. What do you all think? Do you think I made some good points? Or perhaps there is something that I missed. Either way, I once again hope that you are all having a great week and I look forward to any further discussion. Best,

Response One

I would recommend the use of YouTube for the presentation of complex information. This platform is appropriate because it allows people to share complex information about several topics with different audiences worldwide. YouTube can also align with a webinar because it provides the confidence and power to authoritative the presentation (Hosch, 2021). YouTube will also make it easy to organize all information, making it easy to deliver the presentation in an organized manner.

I would not recommend using blogs such as Wikipedia because many people could alter my presentation, making it challenging to present my information. Wikipedia is also not preferable, and it would be more challenging to interact with my audience. It is also difficult to organize information in Wiki, making it difficult to pass my information appropriately. Wikipedia will not provide a conducive environment for interaction between you and your audience.

Response Two

I would recommend that you use a WebEx platform that also allows for training, meetings, and presentations that could also be interactive between you and your audience (Cisco, 2021). A WebEx could provide an excellent chance to use videos that have the lengths you desire for them. The platform also allows users to log in and out in their free time to confirm previous presentations. It will also align with a greater audience since it is put in the form of a link.

I would not recommend using a blog for the presentation because it makes it more difficult to associate with your audience. In this case, it could be challenging for many people to access the video. It is also inappropriate to use a blog because watching videos from a blog is tricky for an audience with unstable Wi-Fi connections. It is also hard to put a video without a time limit on a blog, which could cut some information off.
