Therefore, this paper purposes to examine the advantages and disadvantages of using electric or gasoline vehicles. The costs and time associated with driving gasoline cars will be compared with those of electric vehicles to complete this comparison. Overall, it is either you spend time or spend money when you choose either an electric car or a gasoline car.

Comparison Based on Cost

While many buyers are convinced to switch to electric cars because they are environmentally friendly, a significant number of drivers also prefer electric vehicles because they are generally cost-friendly compared to gasoline cars. The cost-saving aspects of electric cars start as early as when purchasing these cars since drivers often get tax credits for helping to lessen environmental pollution (Gelmanova et al., 2018). On the other hand, it is possible to drive long distances without pulling up to refuel, mainly when a car is fully fueled. In this case, gasoline-car drivers tend to spend less time on long journeys since they don't have to pull up after every three to four hours, affirming that gasoline cars are time-efficient than electric cars (Petrauskien? et al., 2021).  Another time-efficient aspect that is associated with gasoline cars, unlike electric cars, is with respect to charging and refueling durations.

(2021) note that most electric cars operate on a single-speed gear, they relatively move at a slower speed than gasoline cars, which have multiple gears, allowing them to move faster over long distances. This aspect makes gasoline cars more time-efficient compared to gasoline cars. However, it is important to note that electric cars have faster acceleration, unlike gasoline cars.

Therefore, from the above analysis, it is evident that when driving an electric car, one usually chooses cost over time. On the other hand, we can confirm that individuals using gasoline cars tend to choose time over cost. Fundamentally, electric cars are the better option between the two since they are cost-efficient and better suited to the environment. Although majority of the individuals still use gasoline-driven cars, embracing electric cars would be a much better idea since other numerous advantages compensate their time-consuming disadvantage. In fact, electric cars are the future and with proper infrastructure to support electric cars, we could see the cost of transport not only decrease but also the world become a cleaner and better place for us all (Petrauskien? et al., 2021).
