Internet/World Wide Web

Internet or worldwide web started in 1989 and his colleagues, and since then, it has been the most discussed and hot topic. The Internet has changed people's lives, and it has been proved to be the best technology of the 21^st century so far. It has been observed that the internet has changed the manual or traditional system to the digital system. Internet was started in Geneva, and it has been seen that the first system known as HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) served as a communication channel between users. The internet has been innovative and has introduced many technologies since its creation (WWW, 2020).

Transmission Control/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)

            It is a communication protocol or standard that helps the devices or platforms to exchange messages and ideas.  The packets are transferred through TCP all over the internet, and it provides safety for the messages and packers during the transmission process. It is one of the basic rules of the internet and ensures that the data does not deteriorate in any way. The TCP effectively does the communication, and users are highly benefitted from the technology.

Packet

It is a little or small packet of large data, and it is transferred over the internet for safe communication. TCP is one of the most effective processes through which the data of packers is being transferred.

Router

It is one of the hardware devices used to receive, interpret and analyze the data and make the device ready to receive the incoming packets. The packets are converted to another interface through the routers (Hope, 2020).

Domain Name Service (DNS)

it is known as the phonebook of the internet and allows the users to contact each other through it. The domain names are the addresses of users for the purpose.
