The personnel and staff of the two firms merged in June 1998 to form the current law firm of Phillips, Richard & Rind, P.A. Kathleen Phillips was a partner at one of the predecessor firms, formerly known as Kaplan & Bloom, P.A. which provided union-side labor and employment law services for over 30 years in South Florida. Mark Richard headed the other predecessor firm which focused on employment law and labor law for over 25 years. Ms. Phillips and Mr. Richard are now the lead shareholders of our firm and, together, have been practicing labor, employment, and ERISA law for decades. We currently represent over 50 unions throughout Florida and across the country. Office Website: http://phillipsrichard.com/ Position: Office Service Clerk • • • • • • Started working as a Part-Time as an “Office Service Clerk” from September 2013- 2014 (as a High School Student in the OJT Class June of 2014 – Manage to graduate from Southwest Miami Senior High School June 2014 – After graduation from high school I was offer to work at the law firm as a full time employee in the position of “Office Service Clerk” at the same time I was going to school at night as a Part-time Student Fall 2014 – 2018 Enrolled in an Associate in Science Degree in Paralegal Studies ABA-approved (Graduated May 2018) Spring 2015 – Became Public Notary for the State of Florida, this comes handy as an Office Service Clerk Fall 2018 Returned to Miami Dade College took remainder credits, took the CLEP Exam for Spanish & graduated with an Associate in Arts in Public Administration (Graduated May 2019) • Fall 2019 – Started here at FIU to obtain a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, some accomplishment here at the University have been part of dean list twice and part of The National Society of Leadership and Success. • For last paragraph use this and summary it. • My pursuit of all this academic excellence is to help me become an established public administrator in future, a field that gives one a wide range of career choices.
