The purpose of this assignment is to enhance learners’ ability to:
- understand the issues of vertical structural dimensions which include issues of authority, hierarchical levels, span of control, delegation and decentralisation.
- evaluate the appropriateness of the vertical structure dimensions of a selected organisation in determining the success of its strategy implementation.
REQUIREMENT
- You have to critically review at least ten (10) articles (journal articles or books) on verticle structural dimensions especially on the topics of authority, hierarchical levels, span of control, delegation and decentralisation.
- You can select your own organisation as your study site, or any other organisation that you are familiar with and be allowed to conduct this study.
