It is important to build and maintain relationships with business leaders and other members of the community to create connected learning opportunities for the children and families in your program.

Create a community engagement plan for your program that includes:

· A summary of why the community partnership is important

· An outline of two (2) events or communication strategies to be used to build a community partnership

· A summary of how the program will use the events or strategies to sustain the partnership overtime. (HINT: "Community Day" events can certainly be effective but try to think beyond the singular events and move into on-going partnerships).

General requirements:

· Minimal to no spelling and grammar errors

· Attempts APA intext citations

· Provides references page in APA format

Include a reference page, and, if needed, in-text citations. Format these components according to APA standards.
