For this assignment you will prepare and present a 5-6 minute speech on the importance of active listening and nonverbal communication. Here is how you will succeed in this assignment: 

1. Read chapters 4 & 5, review the module 3 lesson, and then create a basic speaking outline to assist you with your assignment (detailed below).
2. Record and then upload a video answering the following two prompts:
   • Discuss a situation in which it would be important to use one of the four types of listening described in your textbook. Which one would you choose, and why?
   • Discuss a situation in which nonverbal communication was more important than verbal communication. Which form of nonverbal communication discussed in your textbook was most important, and why?
