Founded in 1993, NYS Catholic Health Plan (Fidelis Care) is a health insurance company that serves over one million members in New York. Its mission is to help the medically underserved. In 2004, they were able to aid the elderly population through their Medicare Advantage plan, and in 2009, they launched their Long-Term Care product to assist individuals who are 18 years old and older.

Research literature will verify that emails were intended to be time savers but people give no thought to sending an email, causing a flood of inefficient communication. If Sonia is expected to do other work in addition to responding to emails, the crushing demand on her time is affecting both aspects of her job.
