Click on Unit 3 Written Case Assignment title to add your attachment with the correct naming convention. This is due on October 12th.

Follow this criteria:

The written case study assignmnet can be downloaded from this link, and contains only one section:  Using Database and Business Intelligence.  Your assignment is to answer the questions at the end of the section with the following criteria. NOTE This is not a simple one or two sentence answer:

Written Case Study:

1. Summarize by restating the case in your own words
   1. In 1-2 paragraphs highlight the key points (This helps to ensure that you are getting the important points)
2. Problem statement
   1. In 1-2 sentences, state what the problem is and what the solution should focus on.
3. Recommended Solution and Analysis (Qualitative)
   1.  Provide a recommended solution to the situation.
      1. Give both pros and cons to the solution
      2. Recommend implementation considerations
      3. Document issues or risks
4. Analysis (Quantitative)
   1. If numbers are available, use them to reinforce Part 3 above
   2. Recommend appropriate key performance indicator metrics

Additional case specific guidance will be provided in class. Guidance will also be provided on “Things not to do” on the case study deliverables.

Your Individual Case Study deliverable should be between 8-12 pages.  However, there is no page count requirement and grades are not highly correlated to number of pages submitted.  Remember: Quantity does not equal quality.

5. APA Style citations are required and you should have a minimum of 8 citations

.  Keep in mind, the quality of your answer will determine the points received.  Your answers should be submitted in a Word document using the following naming convention: Deliverable_Unit3_LastNameFirstInitial.docx.
