OPTION #1: Using PivotCharts in Visualization

You are required to complete both parts A and B.

Part A:

Complete Lab 4-1 Use PivotCharts to Visualize Declarative Data (Links to an external site.) (pp. 166 – 168) in your textbook. Download Data Files Here (Links to an external site.).

1. Your analysis should be written as an essay and should include the following:

• Introduction
• Analysis
  • Heading – Part 5 (i.e., Part 5: Communicate Your Findings) – heading is shown in the Lab.
• Communicate your findings in an executive summary format– write a brief paragraph of your analysis in layman’s terms. (For example, what were the key findings from your analysis?)
• Conclusion.

2. Submit your analysis as a Word document and submit any additional requirements noted in the Lab (i.e., Excel files, tables, etc.).

Your paper should be 3-4 pages in length--not including required cover and references pages or any additional requirements noted in the Lab--and conform to the guidelines in the CSU Global Writing Center (Links to an external site.). Include at least two scholarly references in addition to the course textbook. The CSU Global Library (Links to an external site.) is a good place to find these references.
