Why should we get vaccinated as a solution to prevent deadly diseases?

· What feedback did you receive on it from your instructor and others? What did you find helpful from this feedback?

I received feedback from Classmate, Minerva.  The feedback was absolutely helpful she mentions an article in which the  research shows that vaccine hesitant parents typically fall into four major categories: "safety concern, religious beliefs, personal beliefs, and the desire for additional education" (Akoum, 2019), she further mentions that, it would be interesting to compare the mortality impact of vaccination verses non vaccination on either low-income countries or high-income countries.  That tells me that when I search for sources to back up my statement, I need to pull some that mentions religious and/or personal beliefs to see what type of data I out there for these particular groups.

· Using your reading this week and the feedback you received, post a refined draft of your Research Question.

What needs to be done to limit the exposures to deadly diseases?

· Why is this a better question? How is it argumentative? What different views are there on this topic? What stance are you likely to take?

The refined research question is the better option as it is more argumentative and does not steer towards informational as the first question did. The extensive research will provide evidence gathered my opinion about vaccinations.  There are many different views, those that believe in vaccinations lowers the risk of contracting diseases and the feedback Minerva provided there are anti-vaccines groups, those with personal and religious beliefs. The diseases vaccines prevent can be dangerous, or even deadly.

· What is your answer to your Research Question? Write a single sentence that fully answers it. This will be a revised draft of your thesis statement.

Vaccines should be mandatory because they lower the risk of getting diseases, are safe and effective and save lives.

· Next, conduct a search using Keiser’s e-Library databases. Post an APA citation to one source you located through Keiser’s e-Library.

· Provide a summary of the source. For instance, what does it say? What are its findings? Why is it relevant in the field?

This article states the cost-effectiveness and intervention of Vaccines.  How it reduced Children’s morbidity and mortality for those who parents chose to vaccinate to protect them and others. The source also mentions in order to reach the high rate of vaccinations they educate the parents.

Findings were that through educating the parents a number of studies shown an increase in vaccination coverage.  As a future Health Services Administration especially within the medical field I would have to have knowledge about vaccines and other related medical situations.

· Provide an application of the source. How does this source help you answer your Research Question. Where specifically might you use this source in your actual paper?

This source will help me in backing up my claim that vaccines “Safe and Effective,” the article mentions that rights of our children to be protected from preventable severe infectious diseases should take precedence over parents. This article discusses that mass immunization has been proven as a public good, based on the experts’ opinion that there is no proof of significant damaged caused by vaccinations.
