Scenario 1: Jennifer arrived for her procedure at 9am. After meeting with the gastroenterologist  she learned that the surgery would be very simple and she would be able to go home later that afternoon as soon as she felt well enough. 

Scenario 2: After being diagnosed with severe-cardiac problems John was told he would have to spend multiple days or even weeks in the hospital to treat his condition.
