You will create Persona Doll Action Plans and Diversity Statements that describe how you would have a conversation with children about many of the areas of difference and diversity discussed in the book. create eight more Persona Dolls: 

1. Body Diversity (e.g. size, hair texture, eye shape, etc.)
2. Cultural Diversity (e.g. Holidays, Holy Days, etc.)
3. Economic Class
4. Gender Diversity
5. Immigrants and Refugees
6. Language Diversity
7. Racialized Identities
8. Religious Diversity

Task

Provide thoughtful information for each area listed below.

Title

Provide a title for each Persona Doll that says which area of difference or diversity you are addressing (e.g. Body Diversity Persona Doll).

Introduce your Persona Doll including name, age, and gender.

Diversity Statement

What is your one sentence Diversity Statement for each area of difference or diversity listed above? Below are some examples of how to begin your Diversity Statement:

Difference/Diversity Characteristics

Describe your doll's specific area of difference or diversity that you are addressing for each of the eight areas listed above

Gift or Strength Goal

Describe a unique gift or strength your doll has and how it supports one of the Four Core Goals of Anti-Bias Education.

Your "Gift/Strength" Strategy

Write three sentences you would use in your conversations with a group of children who are meeting your Persona Doll to discuss the doll's gift/strength.

Challenging Experience Goal

Describe a challenging experience your doll has had because of other children or adults. Which of the Four Core Goals of Anti-Bias Education needs to be addressed here?

Your "Challenging Experience" Strategy

Write three sentences you would use in your conversations with a group of children who are meeting your Persona Doll to discuss the doll's challenging experience.
