Transnational Capitalist Class Explain Leslie Sklair’s conceptualization of the transnational capitalist class and how the existence of this class will perpetuate global inequality

Leslie Sklair is a sociologist and his theory is about transnational capitalist class. Leslie Sklair theory, explains the process of globalization by the viewpoint of the corporations themselves. Sklair discusses that transnational capitalist class can be used into four elements as owners and controllers, globalizing bureaucrats and politicians, globalizing professionals, and consumerist elites. He believes that the role of iconic architecture is a part of the transnational capitalist class. I think the existence of the transnational capitalist class will perpetuate global inequality because it will help the rich and it will affect the poor. In Joechim von Braun's short video, he takes on his point of view when it comes to biofuels.  Joechim von Braun discusses the relationship between the world's food and fuel economies. Braun believes that the production of biofuels changes food prices, by increasing them, making them more expensive for people to afford. This will then affect all type of classes but mainly the lower classed people who do not have as much money to afford these foods that have increased in price. The message I got from this video was such to think before you take action, which is a caring and optimistic one. I believe that people like Joechim von Braun care much about others who unfortunately can not afford what others can so by making presentations for the public to view, such as the video provided, we can teach others more about the realistic affects of biofuels. By trying to teach people that biofuels affect the food on people's plate, maybe we can change the fact that more biofuels are being created and used. Even though the production of biofuels can create more opportunities for farmers, we need to think more realistically. This does give more job opportunities but like stated before some people who won't have food at home. The World Systems Theory takes place because just like this theory, some people benefit while others receive disadvantages. 

Global inequality happens and is a part of the world at all times. Sadly, new aspects come about on a daily and not positive ones. One huge aspect that most people have been talking recently about is the worlds richest man, Jeff Bezos. Jess Bezos is best known as the founder of Amazon, and with that being said he is as well the CEO and president of the company. His net worth is about 178.2 billion, and that is no shocker knowing how big and globally used the company Amazon is! Who doesn't know what Amazon is?! It has been estimated that Jeff Bezos makes about billions in just one day. Recently it broke the records when he made 13 billion in just one day! Now this is very interesting to know, but it has upset many people as well. All over social media and on the internet people were stating their feelings on the fact that this one individual makes so much yet doesn't help the world financially or economically to help those who need it most. I remember seeing one post on Twitter saying "This man has all the money in the world to decrease world poverty, yet doesn't help out one bit." and that really opened up my eyes as well! I mean, 13 billion in just one day, imagine his yearly income! The difference between poor countries and weathly countries in this aspect would be that wealthier countries have the opportunity to recieve benefits from the higher classed people. Yet, even though Jeff Bezos is not doing it, there are still many other high classed individuals who do use their money to help others. Poor countries do not have much opportunities due to less high classed people in their countries compared to the number os high classes people in wealthier countries. The World Systems Theory exists to help out countries who do not have as much wealth as the higher countries. While this theory exists, it makes it possible for one country to help out another. The strengths of this theory would be that the less wealthier countries are benefited and helped both economically and financially. But weaknesses occur as well such as equally helping countries. Some may say that another country needs the help more rather than another or that some countries aren't being treated equally. This would then be a bad thing and cause much conflict.
