For this assignment you will write an essay describing a U.S. environmental law and an international environmental agreement. It is best if you select a law and agreement that are very important to you. In the essay, describe the law and agreement, and include why they are important to you. Your essay should also address the criteria listed below.

• Describe a U.S. environmental law.
• Explain an international agreement regarding the environment.
• Articulate policy compromises that were required by negotiators in order to achieve the law and agreement.

Your essay should be at least three pages in length, not counting the title and reference pages. Support your essay with at least two peer-reviewed articles. The articles that you select from the should have been published no earlier than 2000.  Be sure to properly cite and reference all sources using APA format.
