The characteristics of money are durability, portability, divisibility, uniformity, limited supply, and acceptability. Durability of money is very important in our lives because we can use it over and over in order to exchange our needs and wants. Portability of money helps us for paying bills and transfer transactions as well. Divisibility of money is so money can be divided into small increments that can be used for exchange such as goods and services. Uniformity of money is so every dollar or coin is the same value. Limited supply of money must be limited by the Federal Reserve so that money maintains supply and demand in order to keep the value of currency stable. Acceptability of money is very important for anybody, so every country no matter what any currency accepts in order to do their businesses. In general, money is very essential in our lives and it’s very easy to carry on and wherever you go. There are many ways and forms of money to exchange in our history. For many years human being used to trade each other goods or other valuables in order to exchange their needs and wants. This is commonly referred to as bartering. These days, the financial systems tremendously grew up compared to their previous functionality, so people print money in order to exchange their daily needs and wants.
