Stomach is located in abdominal cavity.

Stomach is located in upper part of abdominal cavity. Oesophagus can enter stomach only after piercing through diaphragm which separates thoracic cavity from abdominal cavity. Outlet of stomach is through duodenum, a part of small intestine.

Lower part of ribcage partially protects the stomach.
