a. All frontline wrokers are definitely crucial in battling COVID-19.But the burden carried by nurses is perhaps the most life-threatening of all . All of us have encountered nurses at some point starting with birth, through routine check-ups and during occasional medical emergency. However, they are often overworked, underpaid and underappreciated. In a recent survey released by the American Nurses Association, 58% of nurses had stated that their workload has increased severely in the last 12 months.Hence they have to put in more work hours especially during the pandemic. Added to this is the dange rof contracting the virus during operations. Amongst all frontline workers, nurses probably carry this risk the most. They have to address to the patients and also assist the doctors throughout the whole process form testing to recovery. We have also witnessed that in several countries PPE kits and other equipment is in shortage and so there is added risk for these health care worker. All of this can create severe anxiety, fear and depression which they have to overcome on a dail-basis to serve the society. This act of responsibility is something all of us should respect and rever. Nurses are definitely the pandemic warriors and should be the role-models for society.
