In late 19th Century the organised environmentalism began in U.S. and Century Europe as a reaction to the Industrial Revolution with a goal to foster an ecologically sustainable society rooted in nonviolence, environmentalism, social justice, unbridled economic expansion and grassroots democracy. "Green politics" first began as movement for preservation and conservation; and these movements grew in influence, green politics arose as a new philosophy and grew it's aim at social justice, nonviolence and civil liberties. It's motive to reconstruct the patterns of human relationships and activities to ensure that they value and respect the natural systems on which they depend. The Green politics can be classified on the basis of it's motives - ecological wisdom, social justice, nonviolence, and grassroots democracy. These are also termed to be the four Pillars of Green Politics.
