For this assignment you need to pick a film and write a 600 word background research paper using one of these approaches to prove something about the film.  You should pick a film that you have access to so you can review it and potentially show clips from in your presentation. Find something you want to prove or demonstrate about the film and then pick one or (at most two) scene(s) and use it to demonstrate your point (which is to say your thesis) about the film.
