Directions: Please follow the directions to complete this homework assignment. 1. Before you start, you need to have selected a topic for the Commemorative speech. If you do not have your speech topic, then stop here and take some time to figure out what you want to present on. 2. Once you have your speech topic, figure out what kinds of things you want to include inside each of the main points (special qualities, obstacles overcome, and personal relationship). 3. Once you have selected a topic and your main points for your speech, you will be creating your own Audience analysis questionnaire (AAQ) in the Forum section of Laulima. 4. Your AAQ should be roughly 10-12 questions and need to contain fixed-alternative, scale, and open-ended questions. 5. Go to Laulima -> Forums a. Within Laulima Forums, click on: “HW 5: Audience Analysis” b. Click on “New topic” c. Title your topic: “First name, Last name, Speech topic.” For example: “Kayden Iwasaki, Money Management” d. In the “Short description”, please write what your speech topic is about. e. In the “Description box”, please type out your questions. f. Once you type out all your questions, please scroll down and press the “save” button. 6. Go back to the Forum page. You should see the Forum page filled with all of your classmates AAQ hopefully by midnight on the due date.
