In this course, you will use Microsoft Excel^® along with two add-ins: Analysis Toolpak and Solver Add-in.

 Before you can install the add-ins, you must download Microsoft Office 365 from ERNIE.

Use the following resources to download the tools.

• Add-ins Installation for Windows OS (PDF)
• Add-ins Installation for Mac OS (PDF)

After you have installed the add-ins, use your textbook as a guide and practice using the tools. At the end of your practice, you should be able to:

• Create a worksheet
• Get help while using Excel
• Undo an operation
• Save a file
• Perform calculations
• Sort data
• Use Excel for statistical functions

If you master these skills now, you will save time in future assignments.
