What are some arguments for raising the minimum wage and why?

There have been wage stagnation and increased inflation. Economic growth is creating financial uncertainty, debts and raising inflation therefore the need to raise minimum wages. Increasing the minimum wage cannot affect the number of jobs adversely as it is assumed. It is said that increasing wages should decrease jobs which is not true. Increasing minimum wages will end the De Facto Public support of low wage companies. People who receive low wages have to depend on public social assistance programs and hence the public fund is strained too much. The buildup of low wage jobs during economic struggle escalates poverty as people cannot provide some essential services, hence have to rely on public assistance.
