BBM209/03 Effective Leadership

Instructions:

1. ASSIGNMENT 1 contains Four (4) questions and you are required to answer ALL questions.
2. ASSIGNMENT 1 carries 45% of your final total marks.
3. The assignment should be typed using Arial, font size 12 and double spaced, approximately 2500-3000 words and in essay format with minimum 8 references (APA style)
4. The deadline for the submission of ASSIGNMENT 1 is 25 January 2021, 11:59pm. A softcopy should be submitted via Online Assignment Submission System.
5. Students are highly encouraged to passage their Course Assignments to the Turnitin (below 25%) system before submission, to encourage honest academic writing and it is not mandatory except for Project courses. 2

Sundar Pichai has been named as the new chief executive of Alphabet, the parent company of Google. Sundar is known to have handled the toughest projects at Google. He maintains a low profile and let his work speak instead of his talk. Many who are close to him praise his soft-spoken and diplomatic nature. He is known to have built, nurtured and mentored a great team. His people policies are centred on meritocracy and he goes the extra mile to ensure that his team’s efforts were recognised and due credits received.
