Investigating Fallacies

Each week, you will be asked to respond to the prompt or prompts in the discussion forum. Your initial post should be 75-150 words in length, and is due on Sunday. By Tuesday, you should respond to two additional posts from your peers. 

“A fallacy is an ambiguous, misleading, or unsound argument. We are presented with fallacies on a daily basis, especially in advertisements and political arguments. Detecting these fallacies is an essential part of making informed choices.”

In this week’s discussion forum, provide an example of fallacies in your real life. Explain what type of fallacies it is and provide your analysis. Then use your own words to explain the importance of making informed choice.
