4) Study the map entitled "Slavery in Missouri - 1860," on p. 113 of Chapter 6 of the text.  Write two conclusions about the information shown in this map and discuss how the Missouri Constitution of 1820 handled slavery.  In your opinion, what implications might the state's divisions over slavery have had towards creating future constitutional issues after the Civil War?
