e) Results in a small sampling error if standardized surveys are used.

Disadvantages of the survey

a) Respondents may feel uncomfortable to provide information that may portray them negatively.

b) Respondents might not feel motivated to give data that is accurate and honest.

c) Surveys conducted through closed-end questions may have a low validity rate compared to alternative methods.

d) Maybe prone to data errors and biases.
