Macroeconomics is a branch in economics that deals with the study of the behavioral and performance of the economy.

Macroeconomics focuses on the analysis of factors that have an impact on the direction that an economy is headed. They include factors like the rate of unemployment which contributes to the revenue raised in form of taxes by a state and the amount of money the government gets to spend on the unemployed. Macroeconomy also studies the interest rates in the market.
