What does a company manager do in theater?
A company manager will act as a liaison for the theater company to other people who are necessary for aspects of the theater's productions. The company manager is rarely involved in the specifics of performance, but usually will deal with non-creative aspects of the theater, such as booking locations, gaining rights and managing conflicts with the outside world. Although not involved with productions directly, the company manager's role is critical.
