What is management's primary goal?

Management refers to the practice of coordination of an organization through decision making, planning, leading, and motivation. It's controlling and operating a firm's various resources effectively and efficiently to achieve the firm's set objectives. The resources include financial, human, information, and physical resources owned by the organization. By so doing, management strives to increase the company's stock price and to improve the company's condition to attract new investors and profit the existing ones. All these activities lead to achieving the set objective of maximizing shareholder's wealth. Therefore, management's primary role is increasing stakeholder's wealth.
