What is the difference between assets and liquid assets?
Liquid assets are a sub-classification of assets that includes only cash and other assets that can be converted into cash within a reasonable time with little or no loss. Assets are anything owned by the company, such as equipment, cash, real estate, inventory, or patents. Examples of liquid assets could be accounts receivable, checking accounts, stocks, or bonds.
