These typically involve attendance at an approved medical school and acquiring the appropriate license to practice medicine. HR professionals must be able to detect fraudulent credentials that could result in financial damages if unauthorized people are practicing at their institution. The HRM also ensures that the employees adhere to the legal and ethical standards as needed and provided for in the healthcare industry as well as the HIPPA act which safeguards patient confidentiality. Also, human resource management is involved in decision making on employee concerns. By addressing such issues at an early stage, staff disputes and unrest are limited.
