There are two types of demand curve such as at higher price, there are elastic demand and at lower price, there are inelastic demand curve. Therefore, the market demand will be kinked demand curve. The reason of elastic demand is that there are more competition in the market such that other firms not follow the strategy of one firm that means they does not charge higher price in the market as one firm charges higher price. At lower price, there are less competition and other firms follow the strategy of one firm by reducing the price. So, it will be inelastic demand.
