To graph a supply curve, you plot a relationship between supply quantity on the X-axis and price on the Y-axis. The supply curve is upward sloping. This means as the price of a product increases, more and more supply becomes available from producers. As an example, when the price of paper products rises, more and more companies enter the business of paper goods production. On the other hand, when the price of paper goods falls, businesses leave the market and supply falls.
