Expert Solution

When it comes to the views of the origin of the universe the first main disagreement that comes to mind when comparing Atheism and Christianity would be their belief in God. Atheist do not believe in god or even that a god can exist. Christians on the other hand believe quite the opposite believing in one god Jesus Christ who created the earth and all that it is. One of the things atheism and Christianity conquer on would be that the universe is intricate, and the present world that is sometimes characterized by the battle to endure. Another thing the two frameworks agree on would be that creatures and individuals have experienced small scale advancement throughout the hundreds of years.

I believe that peoples beliefs of the origin of the universe make a huge difference in how one lives his or her life. If somebody beliefs that god exist and has created this earth it will effect every thing they chose to do in their life. They will make decisions influenced by their convictions as well as their cognizance of those convictions. If people do not believe that god exists will not consider gods word about caring for others and will only be concerned about themselves.

Topic 2 DQ 2

I would say that the Christians view god as omnipotent, omniscient, and immutable. First, being Christian you often view god as omnipotent because the meaning of omnipotent is all powerful. God has power over all or better explained gods power is infinite or limitless. Second, would be that god is omniscient with omniscient meaning the all knowing. God knows everything including the past and the future. There is nothing that god does not know. Finally, god is immutable. god being immutable means to be unchanging in his character, will, and covenant promises. I believe that these three characteristics explain who god is to Christians.

I think that the characteristics of god are important to the Christian world view because it is important to know what god is like. In Christianity god is the most important thing. In order to strongly believe in something it is important to fully understand it. With that being said the characteristics of god are so important to Christians so that we can cherish the god that created us.
