I was having a discussion with one of former supervisors regarding work. Upon completion of the topic, we began discussing some personal challenges that eventually lead me to mention my belief in God. I recall stating that I trust God even when I cannot see my way through. She responded by saying that she does not believe in God; however, she believes in a higher power. So I asked if she could elaborate more for me to understand. She stated that there is no way she could believe that there was a man who did all of the things that the bible mentioned. So me being inquisitive, I then asked if she attended church or any forum a faith based ministry; she said no.

I could not get upset but was hoping she would continue speaking on how she feels. However, I do know that discussing politics and spiritual beliefs in the workplace can create a hostile environment. But no worries for me, I just wanted to know. But I think it was more personal but unfortunately, we were unable to really get to the bottom of the issue or issues.

I know that there are different spiritual concepts where people believe and those that do not. Personally, it should not change the way we treat them. However, we should respect their views and be mindful of their feelings and avoid doing or saying anything that could make them feel uncomfortable.

The only way I would probably be able to somewhat relate is if we actually discussed the unhealed wombs. However, the place and time was not appropriate and if it really that deep then it would require a series of meetings to truly discussed and unfold.
