I have cancelled my subscription. I do not receive mail for that and also will you provide refund. Also does it will charge again next month

When I have cancelled subscription in proper way even though I did not receive mail regarding that from company which subscription is cancelled its responsibility of a company to refund subscription money and they will not charge any money until and unless I again make subscription for that.So according to business norm I will receive refund for cancelled subscription and no money charge in next month without my approval.
