Economic paper

* The paper should include an introduction, a discussion of the central question or argument, why you chose the topic, and why it is important. It should also clearly summarize the findings from your secondary sources, a clear description of where you conducted your place-based research, and your findings from that research. The conclusion should discuss what you see as the key contributions of your research.

* Your research should also be interdisciplinary - making reference to at least one topic covered in class from either the readings or the topic covered by a guest lecturer. You may also include relevance to your own discipline/major field of study. The research should also address issues in environmental and environmental economics.

The response of Cities in the United States and around the World to the Challenges Posed by Climate Change

Environmental Justice: Socioeconomic status and health. Why are some ethnic groups affected more than others with changes of the climate? Why are low-income groups more vulnerable to climate change? 

 International Cooperation: The UN Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) The Paris Agreement and the journey towards it.

The role of cities and the challenges they face in mitigating climate change. The first three items are essential (may change later). The 4th item is optional, but watch at least some of it. 

Sustainability 

*Title page (name, of course, your name, the title of the research project, date)
? Paper (5-6 pages) that follow the format indicated (introduction, why the issue is important, relationship to at least one topic, reading or guest lecturer topic from class, discussion of findings from research, conclusion and the contributions of your research),
? Bibliography from your final annotated bibliography,
? Final annotated bibliography with a minimum of 6 sources. (This should follow the last page of your bibliography).
