I would try convince my boss that this isn't the ideal way of demonstration. This will not be fruitful in the longrun and will have repercussions. In order to succeed in the long run i will try persuade my boss let's change the software programming and make it easy on real time basis. I would defer the demonstration until the software solves the real purpose of its development. However if the demonstration cannot be deferred, will speak about the software merits clearly stating the data entry difficulty and which we will be revisiting and come up with a upgraded software in no time.
