The Excel file, “Q2_Wells

The Excel file, “Q2_Wells.xlsx” included with this exam contains 4 worksheets. Each worksheet
consists of 5,000 samples (n = 5) taken from 2 populations with the equal means and equal
variances. For each worksheet 5000 hypothesis tests for equal means and equal variances have
been performed with a = 5%. In each worksheet the total number of equal means hypothesis
tests that were rejected is given in cell V5005. Similarly the total number of equal variances
hypothesis test that were rejected is given in cell Z5005. For each worksheet determine if the
results were expected? If not identify and discuss possible reasons for unexpected results.
